We checked the live Census table on August 25, 2026. We are citing them. We do not own the numbers.

Pinellas has a higher owner-occupied rate on that table. Hillsborough has a higher median owner-occupied value and more building permits in 2025. That is what the rows say. It is not a ranking of which county is a better place to sell.

This page does not add house year-built. That figure was not copied from the official table used here.
